Christmas Presents

Christmas Presents

This was the best Christmas ever! I got a lot of Christmas presents from all over the world.  I got presents from my cousins in New Jersey, my grandparents in Pennsylvania, our Nanny and of course Santa Paws up in the North Pole. I even got presents from people I never met who work with my Mom. I must be really special. Here’a a picture of Nalla and me with some of our presents.

Nalla and I would like to thank all of you who sent us a present. For those of you who didn’t, it’s never too late. Feel free to send toys and treats any time you’d like.

Well this has been an exciting few weeks.  Last week my cousins Christina and Jessica came to visit us.  They were here for a few days.  I’m not really sure how many; I still have that counting problem.  We had fun playing and running around the house together.  Nalla had fun with them too.  This was the first time she met them.  She played squeak the toy with them.  I, of course, am too old for childish games like that.  After all, I’m going to be three years old soon, so I have to act my age.  But I do enjoy a good tummy rub on occasion… ok, all the time.  Nalla and I put on some of our favorite outfits to meet them when they arrived.  Here’s a picture of us.

The day after they left, my two other cousins, Jennifer and Danielle came to visit us.  Nalla never met them either.  Nalla likes to play fetch with them.  Me, I’m soaking up those tummy-rubs.  Life is good!  They have been here for a while now.  I wonder if they’re going to live with us forever.  That would be nice.  They play with us all day when mom and dad are at work.  Miss Nadene our Nanny hasn’t been coming around lately, so I’ve been wondering if our cousins are going to be our new full-time nannys.  That would make sense, since we Pomeranians require a lot of attention.  I guess I’ll just have to wait and see.  I just hope Miss Nadene doesn’t stop coming to visit us though.  Nalla and I would miss her.

Almost forgot to mention… Nalla’s birthday is this Friday.  She’ll be one year old.  I think I heard we’re having a party for her.  And where there’s a party… there’s treats!

It wasn’t me! Honest! No matter how hard I tried I just couldn’t get the words out of my mouth. I don’t speak English and Mom and Dad don’t speak Pomeranian. When Dad would come in and find dog poop on the floor he’d always ask, “who pooped on the floor?” Since I couldn’t defend myself, we’d both get blamed.

I know I haven’t always been perfect in this area.  I have been know to pee on the floor a time or two. But lately I’ve been very good. If there’s dog poop on the floor you can be sure it’s Nalla’s.

But now, through the use of technology, I was finally able to prove my innocence! I set up a webcam and caught her in the act. When I showed Dad the video he apologized for ever doubting me.

Watch here as Nalla pees and poops on the floor.  What a pig! After spending a few minutes outside she comes in, pees on the floor and goes back out. Then, three minutes later, she poops on the floor twice! I was outside when she did it. Between the two poopings she checked outside to make sure I wasn’t watching. When I came in I found that filthy dog pooped on the floor twice. Even after being sent away for training twice, not to mention all the training she gets at home, she still insists on peeing and pooping on the floor. We’re all hoping she learns this housebreaking thing soon. But until she does, at least they won’t be blaming me anymore. If you have any suggestions please post them here. No one like to live with dog poop on the floor. Not even me, and I’m a dog.

My sister Nalla keeps stealing my toys.  She’s not happy playing with her own toys.  She has to take mine.  Whatever I’m playing with, that’s what she wants.  I have a Kong and she has a Kong.  But does she play with hers?  Nooooo!  She wants mine.  So I chase her around and try to take my toys back.  But she’s just a little puppy and I don’t want to hurt her.  So usually I just let her have them.

As you can see in this video, she’s fast and has a lot of energy.  I was just like her two years ago when I was a puppy.  Now I’m grown up and more mature.  Don’t get me wrong… I still like to run and jump and play as much as any other Pomeranian.  I’m just not as active as she is anymore.  When we go for walks she runs ahead and from side to side, just like I used to.  In a lot of ways she’s just like me when I was young.  So I guess some day she’ll calm down and be more like I am now; a mature, intelligent, well-behaved and good-mannered dog.  Oh, and I forgot to mention humble too.
