She Drives Me Crazy!

My sister Nalla keeps stealing my toys.  She’s not happy playing with her own toys.  She has to take mine.  Whatever I’m playing with, that’s what she wants.  I have a Kong and she has a Kong.  But does she play with hers?  Nooooo!  She wants mine.  So I chase her around and try to take my toys back.  But she’s just a little puppy and I don’t want to hurt her.  So usually I just let her have them.

As you can see in this video, she’s fast and has a lot of energy.  I was just like her two years ago when I was a puppy.  Now I’m grown up and more mature.  Don’t get me wrong… I still like to run and jump and play as much as any other Pomeranian.  I’m just not as active as she is anymore.  When we go for walks she runs ahead and from side to side, just like I used to.  In a lot of ways she’s just like me when I was young.  So I guess some day she’ll calm down and be more like I am now; a mature, intelligent, well-behaved and good-mannered dog.  Oh, and I forgot to mention humble too.

I love new rugs.  Especially the ones that come from far away.  I love the way they smell, the way they feel.  There’s nothing like a new rug being unwrapped for the first time.  Whenever my folks get a new rug I have to be the first to roll around on it.  It just feels so exhilarating.

Here’s a clip of me doing my spastic dance on a rug my parents bought recently.  My dad says something’s disconnected in my head.  I don’t know what that means, but I think he thinks I’m crazy.  I do a lot of things he doesn’t understand.  Like running around in circles.  I’m glad there’s another Pomeranian in the house now so he can see I’m not crazy.  We all act like this.  I’ll post a clip of Nalla and I doing our spaz-run when I get a chance.

Another Dog in the House

My sister Nalla is here. She came Saturday afternoon.  My mom and dad went to the airport to get her.  They brought her home and stayed outside with her and brought me out to meet her.  I guess they wanted to make sure it was ok with me to let her in the house.  So I sniffed her butt real good to make sure she’s the type we want in our house.  She checked out ok so I let them know it was ok to let her in the house.

It was a little weird at first.  She followed me everywhere.  She still does, but I don’t think it’s weird anymore.  I didn’t realize this at first, but I think she’s going to live with us forever.

At first I thought she was going to just come over and play whenever I wanted her to.  Then she would go home.  But I found out that she doesn’t have another home to go to.  So I guess she’ll be staying with us.

Having her around is kinda nice at times, but sometimes a sister can be a real pain.  She took all my toys and played with them.  She even took the new blue bumpy bone dad got me for my birthday.  Now I don’t want them anymore.  And sometimes I’m just standing there minding my own business and she comes over and bites me.  When I go to bite back my dad tells me to play nice and not bite her!  But she started it!

But then there are times when she’s in trouble and I want to help her.  Like last night when everyone went to sleep.  She was crying in her crate because she was scared.  I went over and tried to open the door, but I don’t have fingers.  So I sat with her for a little while to make her feel better.  Then I got tired of her whining and went downstairs for some peace and quiet.  No need for both of us to lose sleep.
